We acknowledge the palawa people as the traditional and continuing custodians of lutruwita / Tasmania. Tasmanian Aboriginal people have created music on these islands for more than 60,000 years. They have survived invasion and dispossession and, to this day, maintain a thriving culture in deep connection with land, sea, and waterways. We acknowledge Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded.
